Thanks to everyone who popped by KWHA community kitchen on Saturday -great to meet so many keen cooks! Top prize goes to Harry, 11, who helped at all of our cookery demonstrators - what a star :-) Thanks Harry.
Guest chefs included Barny from Square Food Foundation, Alex from HHEAG, Glynn from the Good Food Tour and our very own Rachel finished off a perfect day with delicious homemade burgers.
Massive thanks to everyone that made the day happen - a lovely atmosphere and a real sense of community.

Come and join us for the best seats in town to watch the balloon fiesta – spectacular views, fresh pizza from the wood burning oven, raffle, home grown veg, fun activities for kids and much more. Everyone is welcome to attend.

How much: Entry is free. There is a small charge for the pizza/salads and our allotment produce, all proceeds go to support Knowle West Health Associations work.

Many thanks to Kate Cooke for the exercise class - really nice to meet some new people. We made a hearty omelette using eggs, potatoes, onions and courgette from the allotment AND a Greek salad using red onion, tomatoes, herbs and cucumber from the allotment - next year we just need to grow olives and make the feta!
Despite the heat we managed to make delicious pasties with our allotment veg... Perfect for a picnic today!
Bristol wide event on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th June. Community gardens and allotments are opening their gates to visitors. Lets Grow! Community allotment on Springfield Allotments, Andover rd. Knowle BS4 1AJ. Open on Saturday 6th June from 11 am until 3pm. Come and join us for homemade cakes and refreshments. Take a tour of the site and watch a weaving demonstration between 12pm and 2pm.

The weather been great and the veg is growing at the moment I have lettuce chard veg plants comeing soon broard beans and radish and cabbages and lots more will keep you all posted
Chris has spent the last two week on a princess trust corse an he built this bird table and house from scratch I think he needs a big round of applause 10 out of 10 all so its thats time of year again come get your fresh vegetables at the moment we have chard, spinach , beet root radishes and eggs all so order your enable hanging baskets call 07826137106
